Breakdown of the journey:
​
1. 30km walking/cycling along costal path from house in Sunderland to the mouth of the River Tees.
​
2. 50km rowing upstream the river Tees to Dalton on Tees.
​
3. 13km walking/cycling from Dalton on Tees along minor roads to Lowfield lane, where I join the River Swale.
​
4. 35km downstream the River Swale to Lower Dunsforth where the river integrates into the canal system.
​
5. 146km along the canals to Manchester Oxford road
​
6. 0.48km walk from canal to studio.
